The month of November is Maui Young Business Roundtable Month!   We will be holding numerous events throughout November to help bring awareness to our organization and attract qualified individuals from our community to apply for membership. 

The following events are scheduled:

- MYBR Meeting - Thursday, November 12, 6:00p in the Maui Electric Company auditorium located at 210 W. Kamehameha Ave. in Kahului.  The guest speakers will be Jimmy Haynes and Kimo Haynes owners of Maui Petroleum and Minit Stop.  They will be sharing some insight into doing business in Hawaii and the secrets to their success.  Pupus will be served during the event.  The event is free to current members and $5.00 per person for prospective members.  Seating is limited so please RSVP to President David Tester at 280-3143. 

- Sake Tasting Reception - Friday, November 20, 6:00p (more information to follow)

- High School Business Simulation Competition - Saturday, November 28 from 9:00a to 12:30p at Maui Community College - This event is being generously sponsored by Bank of Hawaii and hosted by the University of Hawaii - Maui Community College's Applied Business Information Technology Baccalaureate Program.  Students will be competing in a virtual, web-based business world with real-time decision making challenges.  Advisors from participating high schools will be allowed to act as consultants to their respective teams.

- MYBR Banquet - Monday, November 30, 5:30p at the Kahili Restaurant.Banquet Room.  The keynote speaker will be the Honorable Mufi Hanneman, Mayor of the City and County of Honolulu.  Cost is $35.00 per person.
